A Few things Worth Knowing
Getting Started
Every engagement starts with a conversation. We’ll talk about what you’re trying to accomplish, what’s getting in the way, and whether I’m the right person to help. If we decide to move forward, I’ll outline the scope, timing, and cost before work begins.
Payment & Expenses
Fixed-fee projects are billed according to the payment schedule outlined in the proposal. Retainer and hourly work are invoiced monthly. Payment terms Net 15 Days.
Any project-related expenses or travel are discussed and approved in advance and billed at cost. No surprises.
Outside Expertise
If a project requires specialized expertise outside my wheelhouse, such as coding, complex video editing, photography, etc., I can help identify and coordinate the right partner.
I'll discuss any outside costs with you first.
Confidentiality
Because I often work with founders and small teams on ideas, launches, business changes, and projects that aren’t ready to be public, discretion comes with the territory. I’m happy to sign an NDA when appropriate, and I treat client information and work as confidential whether one is in place or not.
Your Work is Yours
Once the project is complete and paid for, the final work created specifically for your business is yours to use, update, adapt, and build on. That includes the files and materials you need to keep moving forward. I don’t believe your business should depend on me just because I helped build something.
AI Has to Earn Its Place
AI can be incredibly useful, but not every business needs it everywhere. I can help you identify where it could genuinely save time or add value, choose the right tools, and understand how to put them to work. The goal isn’t to use AI. It’s to use the right tool for the job.
